Training Opportunity in Columbus, Ohio

Drug-Free Action Alliance's Ohio Center for Coalition Excellence, in partnership with the Coalition for a Drug-Free Greater Cincinnati and the Educational Council will host:

The Business of Coalitions, presented by Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America
Columbus, Ohio at the OSU Fawcett Center June 29-30, 2010


This training is designed for new and veteran coalition leaders working toward strengthening their coalition to become a high performance organization that will produce results!

Both new and veteran coalitions will learn or be able to reevaluate:
• Building coalition membership by engaging people in the work of the coalition
• Sustaining coalition membership through building relationships, developing clearly defined roles and responsibilities, delegating as a coalition coordinator
• Fostering collaborative leaders within your coalition
• Developing an organizational structure that works for your coalition (including appropriate legal and financial management and the pluses and minuses of 501c3 status)
• Improving your coalition's cultural competency by learning the unique considerations for coalitions

Your coalition will receive training and technical assistance resources and walk away with the beginning of a coalition building action plan. Click here to view the conference agenda.
