CADCIN recently surveyed Local Coordinating Council (LCC) reps from around the state and asked them to rank legislative issues important to their community. The top ten legislative issues are presented below in order of importance:
1. Mandatory carding for alcohol purchases
2. Smoke free tobacco ordinances
3. Increase legal age of clerks selling alcohol from 19 to 21
4. State funding for compliance checks
5. Allocation of alcohol tax revenue
6. Separate sales of alcohol in retail stores
7. Limits on Sunday sales of alcohol
8. Alcohol licensing quotas
9. Limits on cold beer sales
10. Required liability insurance for liquor stores
